Ysgol Capel Garmon is one of the Capel Coed-Elan Federation Schools, which is a federation of three small, rural schools in the upper valley of the river Conwy. It is a County Primary school from the nursery year to year 6.
The school is designated as a Welsh medium school in accordance with the education authority's language policy. Welsh is the main medium of work and life within the school, and the aim is to ensure that all pupils are fully bilingual by the time they transfer to secondary school.
Our vision here is to ensure education, experiences and opportunities of the best possible quality within a safe, happy and homely environment. We aim to ensure that every child is introduced to the Welsh heritage and has every opportunity to develop to their full potential as independent, confident and successful individuals for a rapidly changing world - and therefore our motto is 'Ysgol fach , Ysgol i fyd.'
